As you know, only State Government operated lotteries are allowed and private lotteries are banned in almost all states in India and there are some states which completely banned all types of lotteries like Tamil Nadu.

In India currently there are 13 states which allow lotteries, they are Sikkim, Nagaland, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Goa, Maharashtra, Kerala, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh & West Bengal. In Madhya Pradesh there were various lottery schemes which were regulated & operated by the Directorate of Institutional Finance. Thereafter all Lotteries were banned since implementation of “The Madhya Pradesh Lotteries Pratibandh Act, 1993” and the Govt. had also issued a “Notification regarding PRATIBANDH of Lotteries in Madhya Pradesh 1999“. Now In 2021 the Madhya Pradesh government has allowed the state lotteries running under the “Lotteries Regulation Act 1998” in their state vide gazette notification dated.23.08.2021. But currently there are no lottery schemes and official lotteries department or directorate website of Madhya Pradesh.

West Bengal has Directorate of State Lotteries to regulate lotteries and there are various lottery schemes but all the schemes are suspended after covid19 restrictions and currently they only allow running and selling of lotteries of few other states specifically Nagaland State Lotteries in their state. Hence we could not found any official lottery result publishing website of West Bengal state and we have given here the link of their Directorate of State Lotteries and will provide the link for results once they restart their lottery schemes and publish results in their official website.

In West Bengal there is also a popular Bangla Newspaper that specifically publishes all lottery related news and results, known as ‘Lottery Sambad, published from Kolkata which circulates in West Bengal and nearer states. Therefore the lottery lovers of eastern part of India generally call all the lottery related news and lottery results as Lottery Sambad. They also publishes Lottery results, specifically West Bengal & Nagaland state lottery related news and results, in their website, we have given the link of Official Lottery Sambad website here.

Our aim is to provide genuine information regarding various Indian State lottery schemes, results and other lottery related information for better awareness among the people. We are trying our best to collect information from the state official lottery department websites and other reliable sources and presented here. Although all the information is available online in various state government websites and in public domains but most of the people even could not find the official lottery department websites of different states from where they could find genuine information and results. Because there are a lot of other websites who ranks higher in Google search due to high level of search engine optimization, which hides the official websites from general internet users.

Although most of the lottery results websites, like us, provide information collecting from the official state websites and provides quick results to the users but in case you need more details and wants to verify and confirm with official reliable content then you have to check the concerned state lotteries official sites. Therefore we have provided here the links of the state directorate of lotteries official websites of almost all the lottery operating states.
